The Norwegian Veterinary Institute-NVI, together with the Norwegian Food Safety Authority, the Norwegian University of Life Sciences, private veterinarians and many interested citizens, continues to work on clarifying the reasons behind the recent acute mortality in dogs in Norway.

An increased number of cases of severe haemorrhagic gastroenteritis (inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract) has led to the death of several dogs in Norway in the last weeks.
Biosecurity and transportation of fish
Every AquaNor, Norway and Chile organizes a joint seminar giving an overview of the fish health status in both countries and addresses important issues for the aquaculture industry. This year the meeting put emphasize on biosecurity and transportation of fish.
Ghana and Norway in joint Fish Health project
Fish Health is a key element of an agreement signed in the presence of Ghana's President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Prime Minister of Norway, Erna Solberg. The Norwegian Veterinary Institute will play a crucial part in the agreed project.
